Hello everyone, if you are in NYSC camp or about to enter, just get a cup of cold drink by your side and roll down with us as we reveal to you the groups that if you join while in camp would influence your postings to good place for your Primary Assignment (PPA).
Joining the any of the groups below is, however, not a sure-bet but atleast it would boost your chances of being posted to towns and cities after orientation exercise in the NYSC camp.
1. Quarter Quard: This group of people will be trained to mount the "quarter quard" chamber, normally situated near the camp gate. Corpers who joined this group are likely to be posted to Army Baracks, NYSC secariat, Governor's office, companies etc. In some cases, you may be asked to choose where you want to be posted to.
2. Colla Party: This group is the flag bearer in the NYSC camp, it is made up of about seven corpers. Joining this group will boost your chances of being posted to towns and cities.
3. OBS (Orientation Broadcasting Service): This is a popular group in NYSC; almost known by everybody. Corpers in this group broadcast news, play music just like radio station, they also coordinate night parties. Joining this group will boost your chances of being posted to towns and cities.
4. Platoon Excos: The platoon excos, naturally are entitled for good PPA, but try to be in good term with your platoon officer, so that he/she would submit your name for good PPA.
5. Camp Band: wow! You know those people that always beat drum in camp.
